Kutná Hora, Czech Republic

This very chill cat was holding down the fort in the office of the Italian Court in Kutná Hora, which served as the royal mint for many centuries, and has live coin making demonstrations for tourists today.

Kutná Hora itself is a gorgeous city, the town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for reasons that are obvious from your very first glimpse of Saint Barbara’s Church:

However, the true motivation that resulted in us seeing Kutná Hora, was actually our desire to see the other church listed at this UNESCO site, the nearby Sedlac Ossuary, which is thought to contain the remains of over 40,000 people:
